1040EZ Tax Form Overview
Hi there! I'm talking about the 1040EZ form, the Income Tax Return for single and joint filers with no dependents for 2007. We are going to talk first about the label section. If you filed in the past, the IRS will generally send you a book with instructions and forms and will include a mailing label. If the label is correct, you can put that label in the section noted as labeled here. You need to check the label to make sure that they have your correct address. If your name has changed for any reason marriage or whatever, you need to make sure that is correct. You also need to put in your correct social security number and also your spouse's social security number in the far right hand side. You need to look at the presidential election campaign and decide if you want $3 to go to this fund or not. The presidential election campaign form is set up to take a presidential election campaign by reducing the candidates dependence on large contribution from individuals and groups and it helps to place candidates on an equal footing. If you do want $3 to go to this fund, you can check the proper box for you and your spouse. Both of you can check or just one of you can check. In the upper right hand side, there is a space for your social security number. You want to make sure that you fill that out correctly and you want to fill out your spouse's social security number also.
