Hi, this is J today we are going to learn how to construct and play the D minor scale on the violin. We'll be going over the half steps and a whole step and that is the relationship between two notes. We'll be going over the scale degrees, how to get a good sound in your violin, fingerings, different octaves and basically everything you need to know on how to play this scale. J, Thanks for this set of videos. I am learning the violin (as an adult) and I find it really hard to find material that shows me where to actually put my fingers for the scales and how they sound. I learned G minor from you, and will tackle D minor now! Thanks Carol
