Violin Scales in G Minor: Eighth Scale Degree

Let's play our G minor scale. (playing violin) First second third fourth fifth sixth, five and six half step on E flat, seventh. Now let's talk about our eighth scale degree now our eighth scale degree is the same note as our first scale degree. It's just played on a different part of the violin. So you play it with a third finger on D string. (playing) Between the G and the F is a whole step.
