How to Determine Croquet Court Size
Hi, I'm Bob Hunt on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm here to show you how to play Croquet. The great game of Croquet, and if you know what a mallet is and if you know what a wicket is and if you know what a ball is, you've probably played the game of Croquet. Even if you don't, that's what I'm here to do is to show you how to play the great game of Croquet. The first thing you need is a playing field. Now here we're on a playing field that's about fifty feet wide by hundred feet long. Now a regulation competition field is about fifty-two by about hundred and five, similar to this one, but manicured and cut down real well. The idea of the game is simple. Find any playing field, your backyard, a park, a picnic area, you can play up in the mountains, you can play on the beach, you can play anywhere. But what you do, is you find a field like this one, you've got mallet, you've got a couple of people, two to six people, you've got some wickets all over the court and the object is to knock these balls through all the wickets and win the game.
