How to Handle Corn Snakes

On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole and I'm here to tell you about corn snakes. Safe handling of a corn snake will involve making sure that you are paying attention to where your snake is going. Going snakes tend to be very active and can actually jumped so an active corn snake and a frighten corn snake will often try to escape from your hands. This is very dangerous cause they can fall from pretty high levels when they are frighten. Just make sure that you keep your hands and your eyes on your snake at all times. Corn snakes don't tend to be bitters but if they do bite there is not much teeth to them. They have lots of little teeth but they are not painful they may scrap the skin. They will not rarely do much damage than that again never hold your snake by you face. You never want to give it opportunities to strike at your face. Small children and corn snakes they corn snakes are good for small children because they tend to be fairly friendly but it's preferable if you have a small child holding an adult corn snake. Because they are little bit easier to handle they are not as jumpy and they don't move as fast.
