Corn Snake Information & Characteristics

On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole and I'm here to tell you about corn snakes. Corn snakes vary widely in colors this one has the orange and the white throughout its body a lot of corn snakes come with brown rather than orange. And a lot of corn snakes also have yellow spots or strips with their orange and white mixed here. There are also some that have outlines of black around each spot that they have around their body. These are the typical colors in corn snakes they also are related to rat snakes and milk snakes and king snakes. They are from the same genist so they tend to have the big bulging eyes and the head that is not very pronounced from their body. They don't have angular head at all it's very round right there. Now corn snakes also have a very long thin tail that is prong to having issues which we will talk about. This is a juvenile this one is probably about 4-5 months old. Now they can be up to 5-6 feet which is unusual but they can be up to 5-6 feet most corn snakes will stay up to about 30-40" long. There body shapes is very closer related to that king snake to where as it stays skinny, it doesn't get very bigger around but it does get pretty lengthy. So these snakes are also very calm and dasul and this is one of the most popular snakes to have in the pet trade today, they are easy to breed and easy to keep up.
