Hi, I'm Brenda F. Dixon, a licensed clinical social worker here in Nashville, Tennessee and we're here with Expert Village today. The gossipator in the workplace is many times anger producing. It provokes anger because this person will be known to tell many stories, any story, wants to be up on about everything, wants to be in the loop in the know. Will take even information that you have given and perhaps tell someone else or information that someone else has given to them and tell something else. They're good storytellers, I mean they really do know how to tell a good story. But with the story they're actually just carrying the story and this produces anger among people because they don't know if they can really trust this person in what they say. So the gossipator is someone that will provoke anger.
