How to Solo on the Flute in F Major: Part 2

I will now go over how to build a solo. Building a solo, let's look at four bars at a time. You want to remember the notes that we talked about to use, right here, in the first four bars. And we're going to put them in the first four bars. The first four bars include the one chord and the four chord, including the pitches, F, A, C, E-flat and the four chord, B-flat, D, F and A-flat. I will now play through and use just those pitches to create a solo, stopping after four bars. After I've played, it is a good idea to stop and redo what I play so that you can hear how these notes fit and play them on your instrument. That was a solo using the first four bars. You can notice I made a difference between the one chord and then when it switched to the four chord in the A-flat.
