How to Play Blues on the Flute in F Major

Now that we have gone over the form and the chord changes for the blues, we are going to start looking at the available notes from the different blues. Now, going over, this combines all the notes that we have used. Look from the chords. We have F, G, A-flat, A-natural, B-flat, C, D, E-flat, E-natural and F. This is pretty much an F-major scale, keeping in mind that there's the added dominant seven, flat seven. And also the flat third. These two really bring out the jazzy sound. I will now play through these notes so you can hear how they sound. These are the available pitches to use and what the main head or the theme of the solo when playing the blues is used and the pitches that are used for soloing, which will be discussed in one of the next segments.
