How to Solo on the Flute in C Major: Part 4

Now lets move on to the last four bars. The last four bars changes into the V chord. This is a new chord that we haven't heard yet in the Blues progression so it is good to point it out. Let?s look at the changes. We go from the I chord to the V chord which in the key of C goes to G. To make a difference you have the dominant flat, B flat in the I chord move to the natural B in the V chord. In playing the solo I'm going to be pointing this out so that you can hear. I'm going to start with the I chord and then move into playing the last four measures so that you can hear the Blues progression. We have now gone over how to play a solo through the whole group of the form of the Blues.
