How to Solo on the Flute in C Major: Part 2

Now that we have an idea of what a solo can start out sounding like and the chord changes and notes to use lets create a solo. Four measures by four measures. The first four measures we are going to create a solo with if you look back to the chords it uses the I chord and the IV chord and then back to the I chord for two measures. Right up here. These pitches are the available pitches that we have in forming our solo. So to use only these pitches I will now play a solo that goes through four measures using just these pitches. I'm going to keep time and remember this tempo as you listen to the solo. And try to figure out if you can hear the notes that I am using. And if you are learning and playing along try to play over what I am playing after I'm finished. So 1, 2, 3, 4.
