Ok. Now I'll demonstrate playing the snare drum on beats one, two and four; and the bass drum on beat three; over the swing ride pattern. One, two, three, four. Once we get a grip on this we can play it at a faster tempo. One, two, three, four. And this is the snare drum on one, two, four and the bass drum on three.
