Swing Beats on Bass & Snare Drums: Variation 8

Okay let's take a look at playing the bass drum on the and of one, as well as the and of two and then beat three and beat four, over the swing ride pattern. One, two, three, four. Alright, let's isolate the feet and get a good idea of how these are coordinated together to play Setzer rhythm. One, two, three, four. To break this down for you, the only time the bass drum and high hat line up are on beat four, and the rest of the time the bass drum is playing between the high hat. Alright, let's put this all back together. One, two, three, four.
