How to Prepare Hair Relaxer Neutralizer

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to relax color treated hair. I went and checked her hair out, she looks good. I processed this hair, it is ready to go. The next step in a relaxer is called neutralizing. Without neutralizing the hair the hair would turn back to almost like a wave or a curl. It would not stay as well, you would have to always neutralize your perms, your relaxers. Whether you curl your hair or straighten it, alway neutralize with a neutralizing shampoo of any kind. It does not have to be anything special. I like to use a neutralizing shampoo that has a little bit more conditioner and usually I use the same one that I use as a relaxer. The relaxer company sells a neutralizing shampoo. That is the one that I buy just so I would not have no problems. I'm going to go ahead and rinse out with warm water her hair.
