On behalf of Expert Village my name is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to relax color treated hair. So before I start my relaxer I'm going to drape my client. Let me show you how you would drape this client, you want to make sure that you protect her because the relaxer like I said is a strong chemical. You want to make sure that she is well covered. You get a good towel here, around her you put plastic tape. You can put a neck strip on her neck. I'm not going to do that to this costumer here but I'm just going to cover her like this. A good heavy cape just in case the relaxer drops on here you don't want to get none on her clothes or anything like that. Cause relaxer also can strip off color of clothes believe it or not. It has done it to me many times, I would be wearing something pretty and then it drops on my clothes. That is why I'm dressed like this today. So I'm going to go ahead and pull the towel like this and pull out her hair. Get her ready for this relaxer.
