How to Play a Ride, High Hat & Bass Drum in Swing Music

Alright, so now we are going to start with the Bass Drum and then add the High Hat to 2 and 4 and the time on the Ride Cymbal, all together. 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a. Count out loud too. 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a. 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a. I wrote this down too, so you can see what it looks like, it's the basic swing pattern, I wrote out the triplet rests in between, but sometimes that rest is not there, so it will look, just like that, just like an 8th note, but it's inferred that it is swung. So I will play it one more time but a little bit quicker, 1 2, 3, 4. 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a 1 and a 2 and a 3 and 4 and a.
