How to Play a Bass Drum, Clave & Ride Cymbal Together

So now we are going to put it all together. So we are using the feet, doing the samba patterns. Play it slower. Adding the ride cymbal. Clave. I had it written out like you saw before. Now we are going to look at everything together. You have ride cymbals, snare drums, bass drums on beat one, ride cymbals, snare drums, bass drums on beats two and ride cymbals, bass drums on beat three. Ride cymbal, bass drum on beat four also the hi-hat on beats four and beat two with the ride cymbal. You have the bass drum and ride cymbal, hi-hat snare cymbal, bass drum cymbal, hi-hat ride and then bass drum and ride. One more time while you read alone. One, two, three, four.
