Sauteing Garlic For Spicy Sweet Havana Chicken

Now, our fruit mixture has boiled around the chicken. We've turned it two to three times. It is coated. So, we're going to put that chicken straight into the beans and then dump the sauce over the top of that. Going to stir the chicken and the beans to make sure that they're coated evenly. Alright, while we're doing that, we're going to add some oil to another pan and saut? the garlic and the pimentos. We're going to start with the garlic first, because that is more coarse and will take a little bit longer to break down and become soft. This as you can see, is fairly wet and soft. So, we're going to turn the pan, letting the oil go up on some of the sides and then spread the garlic out evenly over the bottom of the pan. Again, keeping the handles not pointing straight at you, but to the side. And again, we do not have to saut? the garlic all the way through because it will continue to cook in the pan. We're going to add the pimentos. So, we'll heat this for about a minute, maybe two.
