How to Devin Shrimp

Hi, this is Rich Buccola here at New York City. Today on behalf of Expert Village I?m going to show you how to make shrimp scampi. Alright so got our shrimp scales here and shells. All I have to do now is wrap it up, close it all like this and throw that away. Actually it's nice about using that, alright so we have our shrimp and we are going to devein it. So there is a vein on this side just to let you to let know and you just take the point of your paring knife and just go right down the center you'll see that the vein comes right out. You may want to have another paper towel just to put all your veins on and you just put all you veins on a piece of paper towel. Also on top of around the circle this part of the shrimp is a vein as well. If you just take your paring knife and slice in very easy to the back of the shrimp, you see the veins right there. You just grab you knife and pull it right up, clean that right up. You can also use your fingers to pull it pull that vein right out and just put it on the paper towel you see right in the back you can still see a little more, just slide it very thin and pull it with your finger or your knife.
