Mix Cement, Pt 2

Hi, I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village. Today we will show you how to build a privacy fence around your yard. Now we are going to add water to our ready mixed bag of cement which we have in our wheel barrel. We have our hose for mixing the cement. So we are going to add some water right into the middle of it. Mix this all up so the dust does not fly up on you and then you are going to begin mixing the concrete with your hoe. Just keep doing this until all of it is mixed together. Keep adding more, keep mixing it and stop adding water and then mix for a while because you don't want to add. You can always add more water but it is difficult to take out the water. So you don't want to put too much water in. If you do put in too much water you can really just add more cement. So we just keep adding until it is about the consistency of peanut butter. So at this point you do not want to add anymore water just continue mixing it so you get all of the dry particles off of your wheel barrel. Then it would be mixed thoroughly. Then we would be prepared to put into the hole. So I'm going to mix it a little bit more.
