Screws & Materials for Privacy Fences

Hi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we will show you how to build a privacy fence around your yard. What we are putting this together with is zinc coated drywall type screws, Phillip head screws. We will be using about 2 1/2 inch to go through the 2 x 4's. We are going to be screwing this fence together rather than nailing it. We are not going to be using any nails because many times with nails when you are hammering it, it will beat your work piece apart so I find that the screws last longer and they are stronger and they won't pull out so that you have a tighter, stronger fence by utilizing the Phillips Head screws.
