The homes Mark features in his video are not his property and the fences he has not put in himself. The iron fence is his neighbor's fence and I wonder if they know their home is posted on the innernet. The beginning parts of the "privacy fence" that Mark posts in this video was never finished and the actual fence that is shown more is a fence that was put up by his other neighbor who is an architect. Reasons for Building an Iron Fence

Hi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we will show you how to build a privacy fence around your yard. The type of fence which you will have around your house depends on your needs. If your primary need is security, you may want to build a fence like this. This is called an iron fence. It is welded of 1 x 1 iron square stock and the posts are 4 x 4 steel set into concrete. The pointed tops are welded on afterwards. This is an expensive fence but it will last for a long time; several hundred years with maintenance. Its drawbacks are the high costs. The advantages are long life and high security and visibility through the fence.
