Materials for Building a FenceHi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we will show you how to build a privacy fence around your yard. The next step that you will do once you have designated the property line, is you will begin to get your materials. This fence we are going to build has the post of 4 x 4 treated pine. The pressure treating is to inhibit insects like termites from eating the post which will be in contact with the ground. We will set these posts in concrete and we will show you how to mix up. So when this project is finished, you will have the 4 x 4 posts set in the ground with 2 x 4 stringers and then you will attach the pickets onto your fence.
