Property Lines & Building a Fence

Hi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we will show you how to build a privacy fence around your yard. Once you know where the pins are at the corners of your lots, you can set up a pole and then run a string from each pin and you will know with the string in a straight line where the boundaries of your property are. This would be on your property line. So now you would know where to build the fence. Generally you will come into your side just a few inches. You will want to respect this property line and not build any part of your fence on your neighbor's property. Build all of your fence on your side so that you have no problems with your neighbor and as you know, good fences make good neighbors.
