How to Use Swimming Pool Auto chlorinators

Hi I am Francisco Cales of Tampa, Florida with Pool Inspectors and on behalf of Expert Village our theme for today is basic Pool maintenance. If and when a chlorine generator is installed with your system, approximately every three months it needs to be cleaned to prevent calcium buildup. To clean the cell in the chlorine generator we are going to add one part to three of moric acid to water. What you need to do is take the water put it in a bucket and adds the acid to it and put the cell inside there. It is recommended to do it this way and you should never scrape the cell because you could ruin it. An automatic chlorine generator is a highly recommended product because it will lower the cost of maintenance from the pool. It automatically produces chlorine through iodization of salt so approximately every three months when you clean it out you need to turn off your system and unscrew it off and remove the cell from inside.
