Hi, this is Francisco Cales in Tampa, Florida with Pool Inspectors on behalf of Expert Village. Our theme for today is basic pool maintenance. To test the ph of the pool, we're going to go ahead and use a tailor kit. In a tailor kit, we have a color coded series, which tells us what each one of the liquid indicators is for. We'll be using the large valve compartment, two from this side, filling them up to the indicator, on the top of the indicator. You go down to about 12 to 16 inches below the water line pop it back up and measure it down to the indicator. At that point, you go ahead and you take your red cap, which is the r004 ph indicator solution and add five drops. One, two, three, four, five. Cover it up, mix it up. Take a look at the color code bar, right under where it says ph which it goes from 7.0 to 8.0. At this point, I'm reading a 7.8 on the indicator.
