Hi, its Francisco Cales with Pool Inspectors on behalf of Expert Village.com. Our theme for today is basic pool maintenance. Up first will be for us to test the chlorine in the pool, what I have here is called the Taylor Kit, which is the instument we are going to test our chlorine with. For our measurements we are going to use the small valve, about 1 foot to 16 inches below, fill it to the marker line, and use the correct set of chemicals, which are color coordinated, chlorine would be the yellow one. We will go ahead and add 5 drops of R001, and 5 drops of R002, and what all these drops are different agents that will tell us how much chlorine is in the pool. Cover it up, mix it up and the chlorine will be known by whatever shade compared to actual graph on the meter, at this moment we are at 5.0. So we have an ample supply of chlorine.
