Hi I'm JA Donnelly for Expert Village and today I'm going to talk to you about 4 track recording. Okay now with any basic mixing. A mixing board, your 4 track. This is a little more than four tracks, but just to give you an idea. We recorded bass. We recorded some drums. A little guitar and some other stuff I did earlier off camera, but let me just play this back on the transport. I'm going to hit play and you'll see the different levels come up. The pods that you can fade down. There's our drums. Our guitars coming in. Now, also you could mute instruments or solo instruments on a mixer like this or a 4 track. With the "M" lit that means it's muted. I have it muted so we can't hear it right now. But, if I unmute it. Hear that other instrument there? I could solo that instrument if I just want to hear that instrument alone I hit play again.
