Mixing Tips: Digital 4 Track Recording

Hi I'm JA Donnelly for Expert Village and today I'm going to talk to you about 4 track recording. The guitar track. Here's the master, Here's the track. Okay, watch this. I'll rewind this a bit. Play it back. You'll notice that this is the guitar track that I'm sliding up and down. I can fade that in. Fade it down. You can do that with every channel here. This is a good way to learn how to mix different instruments. Every channel is identical. Every instrument has it's own pod or track like this. You would mix it down to one master track like this one over here.
