Back Handsprings for Beginner Gymnasts
Now, we are going to demonstrate the back handspring. Okay, with the help of a little log that she stands in front of it, she bends over and she brings her legs right over. Very good, Dahlia. Yes, Mariah please. She bends backwards, over, legs up and over. Yes, one more time, please Dahlia, same thing, okay. The gymnast has to lean back, stretch herself all the way upside down and make it over. Mariah please, back, over, very nice. Now, we are going to jump a little bit, right Dahlia. In the back handspring, we have to jump, jump over and around, very good. Mariah please and jump up and over. Dahlia, one more time, you guys jump up nice and tall and jump up, that is it, good.
