Now we are going to take a look in reading in patterns again under a different key. Now we are going to stay in the D flat major pattern. But we are going to read out of a E major scale. So we are reading E major but we are going to play the D flat pattern. How we do that is we just make E 1. So this is 1 and then we have 1,2,3,4,5 oh, we have 5 again. 6, oh there is 5 again and so on. So we got 1,5,6,6,5,5,4,3,2,3,4. So we can go through and all I"m doing is I'm playing out of the D flat pattern. 1,5,6,5,6,5,4,3,2,3,4,3,3,1,1, flat 3, down. Then we actually have a different ending. But by just reading the same pattern and apply it to the key on the end I'm reading the same thing. So what our method is doing is really teaching you to read by pattern which make site reading that much easier.
