Identifying Rhythm & Syncopation in Piano Song in D Major

So now we're going to go through and we're going to play this first passage and you can look at my fingers as I play it. We?ll play it two times. First we'll read the music again. So we have one, five, six, five, six, five, four, three, two, three, four, three, three. One, one, flat three, one, do-dah. Going down to there. So now if we look at my fingers again we have one, six, five, six, six, five, four, three, two, three, four, three, three, one, one, natural three. Notice instead of F sharp I play there, two, one, seven, six, five, three, five, seven, two, one, seven, six, five. So, nice melodic line, but again we're staying within this major scale pattern. We're going to go through and show you how you can read the exact same passage in a different key and it will sound exactly the same.
