EMIL LAMPRECHT: We're now going to talk about inside throws, which if you've done outside throws, is similar in the fact that the club is no longer facing outward in front of you. It's also not facing outward to the side, you are now going to turn your club inside, towards your inside, and throw it up and out. Now, this is a very different throw. It involves almost entirely your wrist. It helps to cock your elbow out a little bit in preparation for the throw, just so you don't kind of hurt yourself or overwork your wrists. Also, gives you a little bit of arm strength so you can control height. I suggest working first on a single back and forth, keeping it reasonably wide. So if you were to do more than just the one, they would both have space to complete their spin. And then, moving to double spins and then, eventually, moving to doing them in pattern, one at a time first, and two at a time, starting on both sides, and then leading to, eventually, doing them constantly. Now, again, take note of my cocked-out elbows and the wide nature of kind of where I'm throwing and catching it from to accommodate the spin. You'll find that if you do just one of these, it's not a very interesting visual effect but if you do them all at once, it's very cool, also doubles. And an also interesting way of giving a visual reference, and when coupled with inside and outside throws can create an interesting effect. You just don't want it to end up like that.
