Now we're going to take a look at just our first two measures. And if we zoom in, we have D minor. And all you need to reference for that if you look up "My First Fake Book in C", D minor will come up. Or if you just search for "D minor Fake Book", that will come up. B flat major, that search for "B flat major First Fake Book". And you can get those two chords. Then our melody line again was six, flat seven, one, flat seven, six, five, six, five, three. As we play that, we have this. So with a chord it sounds like this. Very pretty passage. You notice even though we have different chords, we're still reading the melody in C. And pretty much the whole tune, we're always going to be reading in C, even though these chords come out of all these different backgrounds. We're always reading melodically in C.
