Now, I'm going to talk about straight throws, which includes the a side swap four, or a side swap six and even a side swap eight. Now generally, a straight throw with a club in a three club pattern will be a double. You can do a single, but the timing for tricks doesn't usually work out unless the single is very, very lofty. If your approaching pattern is like pattern stalls, or four two three, four four one, for instance, which is straight, straight vamp, which we'll go over in a second, it helps to be able to have a good, straight throw down. Most people will find straight throws with clubs easier than learning a cascade. Personally, I find it harder. It depends on your ability to control objects and how the strength in your arm is applied. Now, a fourth throw, like I said, is usually a double. A six throw, would be a triple, which you could use for other things, or even use to variate various tricks that we will go over.
