How to Juggle with a Reverse Spin

This clip I'm going to show you another very hard to teach, at least for me, and hard to in some ways understand throw. It's called the reverse spin. It's pretty straight forward. The club your throwing, instead of how you've learned it, will not be spinning this way, it will be spinning this way. The hardest part about throwing a club like this, especially out of a normal pattern, is that your arm is moving much differently. It still has an upward arc, but it has to pull towards you much harder, and have a much more dynamic wrist tension to actually make the throw. In pattern, it's very difficult to think about, "Oh, how do I make, how do I get my hand to make that throw?" Most people will find that in learning reverse spins they'll make their first successful flat because they're trying so hard to spin it backwards, it'll go flat. So this is something to consider if you're struggling with flats. The mindset is just to make yourself spin it the wrong way. If you get it more than necessary, that's actually not a bad thing and may even be simpler to think about doing a double reverse spin, just to give yourself time, because as you're throwing it in pattern, pausing to realize what the spin of it is may help you. I personally can do single spins much easier. I'm not even sure if I can do it every time, but it's something to work on for me as well as you and can be another interesting trick and another interesting way to mix it up.
