Tips for Using Choke Chains for Rescued Pets

I'm Sylva Kelegian with Expert Village, here to show you the proper way to use choke chains. A lot of people look at these and they have no idea what to do with them. This is what I did when I first saw one. What you do is you take one of the loops like this and hold it up, and you drop the chain into it like this. Then you put it on the dog with a P, so you hold it like this and there's a P, the P goes on the left. So if I were going to put this on Miss Lulu here, Lulu come, I would drop it down and put it on her this way. That way, the P is up on the left and that is where the leash would be connected to and this is too big for her but if it wasn't, this is how it would be and that that way you're pulling up on the left and the dog can't get out of it if they go to pull away. Okay? And that's that. Watch your head. Thank you. Keep your dog safe.
