Hi I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village. Today we are going to learn how to install a ceiling fan in your home. Now we are putting in the last of the screws which attach our fan blade arms onto the fan motor. So we are going to snug them up but not tighten them yet. We are going to go back and forth because if you tighten up one of them really tightly on anything that you are tightening up in multiple screws. Sometimes you can cause it to jam and bin and you can not get the other screws on. Okay now I'm going to go around and make sure that everyone of these screws are tightened up. Cause now is the time to make sure that all the screws are tight. Nothing would fly off of this fan. Safety first. If you have any questions or doubts about this, call a electrical contractor, pay them to come out and do it. But this is a job that you theoretically can do yourself. So now we have the fan, motor with the blades attached to it.
