Hot to Install Blade to Arm for a Ceiling Fan

Hi I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village. Today we are going to learn how to install a ceiling fan in your home. So this is a blade, this is a blade holder, this is a screw and a little fiber washer to reduce noise. I think. So you are basically going to put the little screw into here and then we are going to tighten up not tight yet. Then we put all the screws in place. Like this. So in general you do not tighten up the screws initially what you are going to do is just bring them snug all three of them. Then you will tighten them up sequentially so they would not bind. Sometimes it is good to go around a second time. This I think we are applying possibly 8-10 pounds of torch in these little screws. So there it is; we now have one of the blade holders installed with the blade.
