How to Clean a Spray Paint Gun for Cars

Hi, I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods. And we're going to do some work for you today at Expert Village. Really important part of paint work is keeping everything clean. The car clean, the tools clean. Here Tony's cleaning his gun. It's an automatic gun washer we have; he knocks the big pieces out with this material that's coming through the brush. There's an air recycling system, it's vented it pulls the air out of there so you don't get knocked out from the smell. And the material in this gun washer is recyclable, and it recycles itself. So Tony will knock the bit chunks off with the brush and button the whole thing up, and hit the automatic wash and it will pump fluid through the gun for some time. He's got a little can of cleaning fluid there to run through the gun.
