Hi, I'm Doug, I work with 20 great guys in Saint Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you on Expert Village. Now Tony is going to weather strip the car, the door is too far. So now Tony is going to hold the door out level with the outside of the car. It sounds like a small item but when you are painting a car you want all of the surfaces in the same line. We are not really not into painting cars bits and pieces at a time on the side of the car. We would paint hoods and deck lids separately but on the side of the car you want everything to be painted at the same time. With the gun at the same pressure, with the same angle and even as much detailed as having the door as the same angle. So there is no shadows, there is not differences in texture or differences in color. This is the only way we know how to get a good consistent result so you just drive a screw in there.
