Hi, I'm Doug, I work with 20 great guys in Saint Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you on Expert Village. We have these here we have 2 or 3 of these cheap little paint(masking paper dispenser). He lines up the tape on the edge of the paper because Tony does not have to struggle with it too much. He has the trunk and tape sticky side up so everything would go together nicely. He is going to mask the trunk completely to keep any dirt that is in the trunk from blowing out on to the exterior of the car. To also give him less total surface car to paint when he does paint so he keeps the whole thing wet. Tony has been at this for 20 years. This is all he does at our shop, he does not do body work, he does not do assemble. He just does paint and prep. Some shops would have a prep guy but Tony is too hard to get along with. He does want everything done his way, he wants it done perfectly, we are able to keep him nice and busy this way and there is no questions. Every single paint job gets done Tony's way, now you have a done trunk mask job.
