Hi! I’m Madison Warner and I’ve been instructing for over 10 years in Michael M. Foley system of Koden Kan Karate and if you’d like to see more about us and about our style you can go to h2hctc.com or mellei.com. Today we’re going to learn forward heel stomp, okay you’re going to step back at an angle into your zenkutsu stance and make sure you’re very low, your knees over your toes and you should feel like you’re about to move forward, you push into your stance forward bring your hands up here in this set guard position and what you’re going to do here is this is a kick for an attacker who is already on the ground okay and you’re going to bring your knee up, stomp with your heel, bring it back up and down so the object is to get your knee way up in the air so that you have distance to gain power. Thrust putting your hips forward into the kick, bring it back up and then down back into your stance pushing forward, okay up, kick, back up and down and then that’s forward heel stomp.
