Finding A Major & A Minor for Basic Piano Chords
The first chord we are going to begin with is an A chord. Now you will find an A, it is two notes down from middle C or any C. An A chord should begin with A, C sharp and E and these are the fingers you use. You use for your right hand, finger 1, finger 3 and finger 5, finger 5, finger 3 and finger 1. Your thumbs are 1, index fingers are 2, middle finger 3, ring finger 4 and pinkie is 5. It is the A major chord. And if you would like to make it minor we take the C sharp and make it a C natural and you see it’s minor because it sounds a little bit even, major, minor.
