On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford, and I'm going to teach you how to make baked penne with sausage. Now, I'm going to show you the ingredients that you'll need to make our ricotta mixture. You don't want to just take ricotta by itself and plop it into a dish. It's too plain. It needs to be seasoned up. So here's the ingredients that we're going to use. A whole milk fresh ricotta. Whole milk because it's richer, more delicious-tasting. This is a combination of Pecorino and Romano freshly-grated cheese. One egg, salt, white pepper, and nutmeg. And those are the ingredients we're going to whisk together and incorporate into our delicious casserole. In our next clip, we're actually going to make the ricotta mixture, and you can use this for lasagna or any kind of baked pasta dish. Stuffed shells would be delicious.
