Choose the Right House or Birdcage for Your Pet Bird

Hi my name is Sarah and I’m coming to you from Petland in Pinborough Pines, Florida today and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I am going to speak with you today about how to buy a pet bird. One of the things to consider when you are thinking about bringing a bird into your home is space. Birds require much more than just there cage area. Some birds will need outdoor enclosures, other play pen areas in the house, some birds will want to wander around the house and it is important that you have safe areas for them. Birds should never be allowed free roam unattended of the house. It is commonly seen in birds that have free roam of the house that they chew on things that they are not supposed to and they injure themselves, damage expensive property in your house or even some times ingest things that can make them very sick. Once again it is very important that you understand if you are bringing a bird into your house that you will be providing ample safe space for your birds environmental enrichment. In addition to the additional expense of the cage, you should also be prepared to be spending money on toys and proper food for your bird.
