Probabilities & Percentages in Spades

The mathematics of the card game, while are pretty much the probability factors of any card game. Their are probabilities and percentages in Poker they are the same as they are in Bridge or Hearts or Euchre because card games are inheritlly mathematical. For example when you deal out a hand of thirteen cards, what are the probabilities that you're going to have thirteen of the same suite, one in six-hundred million. If you want a particular suite, if you want, the odds of getting any thirteen card suite could be one out of one- hundred fifty million. So please keep in mind that you're not likely in your lifetime to get dealt a thirteen card suite or even a twelve card suite, or even an eleven card suite. If you were to deal out a hundred hands, just purely random hands, a freshly cut deck a shuffled deck, the most probable distribution that you would receive, or what we call shape of the hand, is this particular shape right here four, four, three, two. You would get four cards of one suite, not necessarily spades, four of diamonds, three of clubs and two of diamonds. I'm so sorry I inadvertently put in two diamonds there. But this would be the shape of your hand. this is the most frequently occurring hand. Another popular hand is five in one suite, three, three, two. Or you might get four, three, three, two. You rarely pick up a hand that you have 7 of one suite, 6 suites of another and 2 voids. It just isn't there in the percentages. So again the chances of getting these very strange hands are very rare. That means that if you have a suite that's Ace, King, Queen, Jack, the chances are that they're going to follow that suite at least twice. So you can bid at least two of those tricks with complete confidence. If you happen to have a hand that looks something like this.
