Hi welcome back to Expert Village. So what we did is we applied direct pressure to the curve spine muscles and now what we are going to do is we're going to kind of apply our knuckles in different directions. This does not matter, you can have one going in this direction or you can have one going simultaneously. We're just kind of knuckling our way down the lumbar. You can go down or you can come up. The direction I am in is probably best. You can go down towards the iliac crest. Always make sure that you are on or maybe a little bit outside the muscles that go outside the spine. Never do you apply this kind of pressure on the spine. So you just knuckle your way down the lumbar region and always push out away. If the problem is that you're tight in this area and you receive pain from this area of course it is because the central nervous system or your spine is signaling that this area is tight so you move away from the spine, okay? Knuckle your way down, apply the appropriate pressure and push down. That's how you do it.
