How to Seal Glass Blown Ornaments

Hi, I'm Tom Wright, from Gingerbread Glass, on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, I'm going to blow into the tube; once it is sealed again; to expand the colors. We've still got a little baby hole. Now the colors are starting to form in with the tube; giving the design a little bit better of a look. There we go; I'm going to turn it down a little bit. All right; now we're just going to puff it up a little bit. I'm actually, also going to connect a small scrap clear rod to the bottom of it, to help direct the shape I want it to go in. Let's try this again. We'll try and give it some more shape. There we go. All right, and there are our colors. As soon as I pull it out of the flame; you'll be able to see they're fully melted in, and now we're ready for the bail.
