US Government Assistance for Foreign Trade
This is Nikolai Pankratz with American Resource Network for Expert Village. You're in my little domain, basically. The reason I've picked that is I've worked from big offices to small offices. It's for people that start from scratch. Now the next thing we're going to be talking about: what is actually available to you if you want to do international business? Well there's a lot of stuff that is available to you. The American government is very excited and actually gives you an enormous support, not like other countries. That's why America is doing so well, because their government actually gets involved in your business. The reason for that, because, the more you sell American equipment, the more jobs you are going to create. And the more trade, that's why we have all those trade agreements with all those different countries. Well let's look. I just made a note so I don't forget all those organizations that I personally had dealings with. For example OPIC: Overseas Private Investment Corporation. We dealt a lot with them. They issue all kinds of political whist guarantees. All guarantees, etcetera. Based on their guarantees, banks issue a line of credit for you to possibly finance some of your transactions. There's Ecksen Bank for example. Export-Import Bank, and usually they also have many different programs. But usually what they do, if you're dealing with a big corporation, a big company, that corporation on your behalf can go to Ecksen Bank and they got to say I want to ship a container. Could you please finance it? The Ecksen Bank will finance it because they have a good reputation.
